All the type of marijuana production must be done in an environment in which the license is. This means that building or facility should be authorized for those activities. Make sure it is being produced in secured area as well and no 3^rd person is getting access to it illegally. The building or part of the building where cannabis is produced, packaged, labeled and stored must be equipped with a system that filters air to prevent the escape of odors.

3.      PROFESSIONAL FARMING – This could be more than ten thousand square feet of canopy or more than that. That could cost million of rupees to develop and need to maintain lots of procedures for final business.

Just make sure health Canada does not give license any “ready to go” marijuana facility which simply says develop your plant 1^st and then we will give you license. So, before you want to have your application make sure you have developed your facility ready as well. The following things must be covered by your facility –

Ø  For each of the above kind of marijuana farming (which actually depends on your available space) you need required space for it. Don’t increase your space, don’t decrease your space. Health Canada is too clever like you. I just said the required space for your type of marijuana license. If you have just  10 square meter then apply for nursery license and if you have 100 square meter of license then go for micro license and if you have more than 100 you can apply for professional license.

Ø  Different and separate license for separate facility. If you have four marijuana facilities in same state unless the address is same you need to apply different license for different marijuana facility as well. Make sure that your home addresses should e different in case of micro or big marijuana facility. You need to build your facility before your license gets approved. So, let’s work on building facility 1^st then apply for license.

Ø  The 1^st step is to put your application to health Canada and start building facility back in your home. Health Canada will accept your application and let you go through several steps and scrutinizes. If you are rejected in any step, no way to start again from where you left off.
